A contemporary church website bringing information, services and documents together

Church website, PKN template and integrations

A new website for Hervormde Gemeente Het Kruispunt in Serooskerke

For Hervormde Gemeente Het Kruispunt in Serooskerke, we developed a new church website based on our PKN template. The website gives congregation members and visitors quick access to information about the congregation, activities, church services and other important aspects of church life. The website runs on the Basic Media CMS, allowing the congregation to manage much of the information easily itself. We also implemented integration with Kerktijden.nl to show up-to-date church services, along with a Google Drive integration that provides a practical way to make documents available through the website. By using our template developed specifically for PKN congregations, Het Kruispunt has a recognisable, clear and mobile-friendly website that fits the day-to-day needs of a church congregation.

Up-to-date church services automatically on the website

The church services on the website are linked to Kerktijden.nl. Information about upcoming services can therefore be maintained centrally and then displayed automatically on the Het Kruispunt website. Visitors can quickly see when the next service takes place and who is leading it. This information remains clear and easily accessible on mobile too. That is important for a church website, as congregation members increasingly check it on the go or just before a service.

PKN template with Basic Media CMS and Google Drive integration

This website uses the PKN template from Basic Media. Developed specifically for Protestant congregations, this template provides a clear structure that gives church services, activities, news and information about the congregation a logical place. Through the Basic Media CMS, Het Kruispunt can easily manage the website itself. A Google Drive integration also makes documents from the familiar Drive environment available on the website. This removes the need to maintain duplicate information in different places.
