For Hofje Onder den Toren in Middelburg, we delivered a new shared website used by both Stichting Hofje onder den Toren and Stichting Samen voor elkaar. Hofje Onder den Toren is a social and diaconal centre where the Nieuwe Kerkgemeente, Gasthuiskerk and Kruiskerk work together. To manage the building, including information and room hire, we developed a user-friendly booking system that makes reserving rooms easy for visitors. We also configured a calendar module for Samen voor elkaar, making it easy to add and manage activities and events. We also helped with the move to Google Workspace: all email was safely migrated to a secure environment, and we provided support with the application for the non-profit discount.
The website is set up so that Stichting Hofje onder den Toren and Stichting Samen voor elkaar can use the same online environment, while information remains clearly separated by section. Visitors quickly find the right information about the building, cooperation between churches and the range of activities and initiatives. This creates one recognisable platform for residents, volunteers and visitors, with clear navigation and a modern appearance.
For room hire, we built a booking system that lets users easily reserve a room. For Samen voor elkaar, we also set up a calendar that makes adding activities and events simple. This makes planning and organising much more accessible for both administrators and visitors.
